Great book for microstock photographers
This book is as advertised. I've been submitting images to microstocks for about five months now, and Freer's book is chock-full of useful tips and ideas to help me take my microstock efforts to the next level. Highly recommended.

Not sugar coated.
I had thought that I could make a couple of hundred dollars a month with the 100 or so images I have that I would consider salable.' To keep it short, this book explains the work involved in preparing and submitting images, and the need for thousands of submissions to make any real money (00/month) for what amounts to a full time job, not an extension of a hobby. The book is much more than a 'how-to' book, and if you're just interested in making a few extra dollars on the side, like me, I highly recommend you buy it to get the truth about the business.

Great guide for selling stock photography
This book offers a practical approach to microstock photography. The author gives a comprehensive look at the sales models, license and royalties information of the 4 major microstock companies to help you make your decision on how to effectively market your photos. I found the chapters on what sells and what does not and how to make your pictures win very useful. It includes case studies of contributing microstock photographers, which shows a realistic look at what it takes to make money with stock photography.

Excellent step-by-step guide
I'm an ameteur photographer and have been curious about how to sell my photos to the microstock agencies for some time. This book explains it all -- what sells, what doesn't, how to get started, how to navigate the submission rules/standards of the various agencies, etc. Good practical guidance, well-written and thorough.

Well written with nice illustrations.
Well written with nice illustrations. But I was hoping for more actual help in getting material ready for selling on microstocks.

A good book for someone with absolutely no photographic experience to get started, but alot of unneccesary info for photographers. He jumps from talking to someone with no knowledge to talking to another pro stocker and lost me in the middle at one point, but I have not finished the book yet.
